Flip through your Launchpad like a book.
Since the very first Launchpad covers on YouTube, the concept of “pages” has been a staple of how Launchpad performances work even to this day. With the release of newer hardware, the concept of pages has become even more convoluted. Page Switcher aims to unify the pages experience across all devices for the very first time.
Setup
Page switcher setup is very straightforward, simply download the device, and add it to the start of your audio, or light effects chain. Incoming MIDI notes will then alter the chain selector and allow you to switch between multiple pages.
Global mode allows you to send the page value to every other switcher in the project, and is on by default. Disable if your project requires multiple launchpads to be doing different things.
No specific requirements for the file location. Tested and confirmed as functional with Ableton 10.1.3 and higher, and Max 8 (Lower versions should still work). Live Suite or Trial is required to run this plugin.
Compatibility, extended.
Page Switcher v2.4 also adds support for Auto-Page, the device to automatically change pages when the page has been fully played, switching to the next page without having to manually hit the edge buttons. Along with this cross compatibility, it also adds support for Page Display. A new plugin to visualise what page is currently selected and send it out as a consistent MIDI note. Great for tutorials and projects with minimal visual effects.
